We have been blessed as a company to not only make many Lubbock brides happy, but many out-of-town brides as well!  We have traveled from Dallas to New York and many places in between. College Flowers is much more than just decoration.  We can provide you with everything from flowers and coordinating to lighting, chairs, table cloths, decor, and more!  We travel with our talented crew of designers, coordinators, and lighting experts to make every wedding a success. This lovely wedding took place at St. Ann’s Catholic Church and The Petroleum Club in Midland, Tx. St. Ann’s Catholic Church was graced with hydrangea galore!

Jennifer & Fabian Gutierrez – Rock & Roll Chic

One of the most fabulous brides that we have ever met has to be Jennifer!  She radiates such an inner and outer beauty, that makes you just love her!  We had such a great time helping plan her special day.  This eclectic, modern  bride wanted flowers that would compliment her rock edge.  We immediately sought out the advice of our resident rocker chick, Jodi Willeby.  Jodi is our lead designer, and along with our wedding consultant, Emily Manning, they planned the most amazing flower styles for this wedding.  Deep red, fuchsia, and purple color tones added a dark luminance to the bridesmaid’s red dresses.  Textures played an important role in these designs, as the stylists opted for black calla lilies, red dahlias, soft lamb’s ear, and roses all accented with black feathers.  The bride STUNNED in her gold sequin corset, black pants, and gorgeous white sweep coat.  You have to see for yourself, how absolutely beautiful this wedding is!!

Trip Down Memory Lane ~ Brooke and August Floerke

Every once in awhile we have a beautiful wedding we just cannot stop talking about.  In this case, it was Brooke and August Floerke’s Wedding June 09, 2012.   First Baptist Church was where they said their vows together under a heavenly array of hydrangeas and phaeleonopsis orchids.  They celebrated their union at the Lubbock Country Club, which was filled beautiful Coral Peonies, Bells of Ireland,Purple Clematis, Purple Allium, and Hydrangeas galore!  A stunning showpiece gave us all a glimpse into Brooke and August’s love story.  The tandem bicycle they ride together was on display and embellished with baskets of  Bells of Ireland.  The entry table displayed beautiful pictures of Brooke and rose petal cones ready to send off the Bride and Groom.  The grand piano was a a showcase of the family’s weddings passed.  We love old wedding photos!!  Lastly, the ballroom was filled with a beautiful ambience of warm lighting and so many candles.  This has to be one of the most beautiful summer weddings, just fitting for the beautiful Bride and Groom!  We love Brooke and August!

March 15th was a busy day for College Flowers with so many beautiful weddings!  One of the sweetest was Rebecca & Kyle Collins Wedding at First United Methodist in Downtown Lubbock and The Jones AT&T Stadium.  Marine Blue bridesmaids dresses were complemented with all green floral bouquets that included Green Goddess Calla Lilies, Bells of Ireland, Hypericum, and Green Hydrangea.  Sweet antique cups were filled with Blue Hydrangea, Iris, and Roses for centerpieces.  Last, but not least, the Bride and Groom stunned on the Jones football field during wedding halftime.  I loved all the personal touches added by the bride and groom.  Captured by Lissa Anglin Photography, this wedding was a touchdown!

Jordan McKenzie & Jayce Smith

March 15th was a beautiful day filled with love and laughs for Jordan McKenzie & Jayce Smith.  They were married at the beautiful Kent Hance Chapel on the Texas Tech University grounds with the reception at The Merket Alumni Center.
